P.S.60 invites you to a Digital Literacy Parent Workshop on 2/3/26 from 8:30 to 9:30am. Join us for a hands-on Parent Digital Literacy Workshop designed to help families confidently support learning at home. During this session, we will review how to use Remind, Google Classroom, and the NYC DOE TeachHub to stay connected to your child’s school, view assignments, and access important updates. We will also share helpful digital educational tools and translation applications available to families to support learning and communication in multiple languages.
This workshop is practical, family-friendly, and open to all parents and caregivers. Refreshments will be offered. We look forward to learning together and strengthening our home–school connection!

The pre-K application is open! If your child was born in 2022 and lives in New York City, they are eligible to attend pre -k in Fall 2026. Apply by Feburary 27, 2026.

The kindergarten application is open! If your child was born in 2021 and lives in New York City, they are eligible to attend kindergarten in Fall 2026. Apply by January 23, 2026.

Please see the notice attached detailing the NYS exam dates for those students in grades 3, 4 and 5.

Each week, on a random day, one student from each grade (3K-5th) will be selected as our Lucky Duck Winner. The selected students will be called down to the Principal’s Office to be recognized for attending school and showing up ready to learn. This surprise recognition is meant to motivate students and reinforce the importance of being present every day. Each student will receive a rubber duck to recognize their attendance and effort.

We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break with their families and a very happy holidays ! Please remember attendance matters! Be sure to come to school each day for your chance to earn a prize!
